We start PHC programs with more frequent applications to get pest populations under control, then pull back to inspection-based treatment as your landscape stabilizes. Our technicians also flag cultural adjustments along the way, like opening up a tree canopy to reduce fungal conditions, even when that’s work we’re not billing for.

What does the 7-step turf program cover?
STL OAT’s turf program runs February through December and includes C-20 soil conditioning, granular fertilization, targeted weed control at every visit, crabgrass prevention, grub control, aeration, overseeding, and a slow-release winter fertilizer. Fungicide applications are available on an as-needed basis.
Can I sign up for individual services instead of the full program?
Yes, and some clients do. The full program works because each step builds on the one before it, but individual applications can still be worthwhile depending on what your lawn needs. We’ll tell you upfront what to expect from whatever approach you choose.
One of my trees has been declining for a couple of seasons. Is that something STL OAT handles?
Plant health care is a core part of what we do. Our team includes ISA-certified arborists and a horticulturist who can assess what’s driving a decline and build a treatment plan around it. For anything that goes beyond applications, we work closely with Meyer Tree Service and M&P Landscaping so the right expertise is always involved.
