How does overseeding fit into STL OAT’s turf program?
Overseeding is included in step six of our 7-step program, paired with aeration in late summer to early fall. That timing is deliberate. Aerating first opens up the soil so seed makes good contact and has time to establish before winter arrives. It’s one of the more impactful steps in the program for lawns that have thinned out or struggle to fill in after summer stress.
